Decided to bite the bullet and ordered the following today New injectorS, new leads, new plugs, all new filters including gear box, rocker cover gasket ( to get valve clearance checked and adjusted), new timing chin, tensioners and sliding rails. probably lead to more than this now we are doing this much. will try to get photos as the works are carried out from tomorrow. Got all the bits from Mercedes and cost a small fortune but i have told myself it keeps with the originality or I am kidding myself I think. Will also post compression readings when they start. |
