I won this rear arm kit on ebay,
Ebay link

Its made by TRUCKTEC Automotive and appears to be pretty decent quality, all the arms are powder coated and the bolts are all zinc coated.
However some of the bolts have a 12 point star socket on them

and the nuts appear to have been crushed slightly to an oval at one end, i guess to lock the nuts on

So where can i get 12 point drives so i can get on with putting these arms in? Ive had a quick look on machine mart but dont really know what to search for, im sure they will have a proper name or code or something.

Thanks

I think it's an XZN type bolt.
If you search for star bit kit be careful as many online places call 'star' the torx bits.
or try to search as 12 spline star bolt. that may bring the right tools up

looks like the drive might cost more than the suspension arm kit.

Halfords sell them

They are MULTI SPLINE, so that's either an M12 or an M14 - can't remember which one of top of my head.

A rail full of them, mounted in 1/2" drive sockets should be no more than 15 quid - macvhine mart do sell them, just ring and ask for 12 point multi spline sockets.

For the cylinder head, they need to be long reach and they are more expensive but it's the same tool head.

12 Point Multi Spline.

Hope that helps

khimani if you're replacing the all the arms.......................you'll need to get a grinder and a good chisel, because they wont come off willing .......the bolt corrodes to the alliminum insert in the arms..........i know i've just done mine......lol

yeah im anticipating a struggle, i live in a tower block so dont have an electric to use a grinder, was thinking about hiring out a small generator for a weekend for about £40. Or maybe just take it to a garage, i saved quite a bit on the kit so wouldnt mind paying a couple of hour labour
