Longest build time in history?
Hi all,

I wanted to start this thread which will evolve over time into a full list of non-OEM suspension suppliers, part nos., heights, drops, quality, recommendations and prices for all that is available.

This will be for the die hards who wish to replace their SLS for full "normal" suspension - so if anybody has anything to add then please give as many details as possible - i.e. technical, where you bought it, price and what you think of the set up.

Am i to assume that the 2.3/2.5-16 can be regarded as the same part numbers if we disregard the SLS?

Personally i am after information for adjustables, so i think Spax is the only one that offers it.

SO,
We need info on;

Spax
Bilstein
H+R Cup
Monroe
Cobra

And anymore that i've not heard of/forgotten!

Thank you chaps.

Its really wierd - Larkspeed and MotorSportWorld no longer list Koni Adjustable shocks (or complete kits) for the 16v.
They used to, and I'm pretty sure RobertE's black 2.3-16 has Koni Adjustables up front.
Robert, if you get a chance could you check them for a Part Number? :)

Yes they are adjustable Koni's on Robert E's unless he has changed them I thought the car handled very well when I had it even with the SLS still connected on the rear

I have the H&R 60/40 Cup Kit on my diesel.

And boy does the car handle :driver:

Living in London does make you want to get out the car and start hacking away at every speedbump you go over though.
Everyone behind you suddenly becomes an enemy too for some reason. lmao
