Depending on budget;

- Standard eBay spring kits will give you -40mm for little money. The standard shocks will just about cope, but wear on them will increase.
- There are -60mm budget kits out there, eBay again a good starting point. -60mm springs should kill off your standard shocks quite soon.
- H&R do a -40mm Front / -60mm Rear kit, it's about 400 quid I think and is quite stiff.
- Spax do shorter shocks, check out MotorsportWorld.co.uk, Larkspeed.com or EuroPerformance.co.uk for more kits.

Names to look for are Apex, PI, GMax, KYB, Koni, Bilstein, H&R, Eibach, Sachs, Boge, Weitech.
There may be others.

Longest build time in history?
I can thoroughly endorse the Boge-Sachs kit for £199 from GSF. Uprated shorter springs (65mm drop on mine not 40mm for that kit) and "heavy duty" dampers. It really did make my 2.0ltr carb sing though the corners and match most things in the twisties.

For a 1.8 i would say you wouldn't need to even think about anything else.

Once a 190 is properly set-up , you dont need coil-overs , they handle really well , its one of the cars' strongest points .

Is there much difference between the 1.8 and 2.0 acceleration wise?
