As far as i know, Porsche never used the Bosch KE Jet system. But did use the L Motronic system from around 1983 which is EFI, so obviously the injectors can't be used as they are electronic 'pulse' injectors and not the 'constant flow' mechanical injectors used in the KE Jet system.

If you click on the link to the ebay seller i posted above, it shows all the cars that use the same injectors as our cars.
Your quite right, porsche only ever used the K jetronic system on the early cars and some 928's,the injector is the same style, but without checking i am unsure of the flow rates.
According to our local Bosch agent the 928 uses the same system as the 2.5-16.
He was working on one at the time and showed Nick and I. Apparently its quite a week spot in keeping them running properly as, surprise surprise, and I quote, "there are not many mechanics that can set them up properly"!
The 928 never used KE-Jetronic,it first used k-Jetronic then L/LH-Jetronic.
Some of the porsche 911 turbos used KE-Jetronic but i have never seen it fitted to 928's.
It might have been fitted to NAM spec cars for the emissions but deffo not here.

Obviously another technician who dosn't know what hes working on then! Strangely though it had the same adjustment knob on the control unit and lots of other similar bits but I suppose they all look a bit alike.

Hi

It's pretty much the same...minus the electonic bits which was added to the k-jet to keep up with emission control regulations of the 1980's.
