I have bilstein sport and is planning to get a set of H&R spring ( HR-29614). The spring set comes with both front and rear springs. I have sls on. Do I just replace the existing spring with the rear springs on the H&R set ? No other work needed ? Thx

I thnk that he has bilstein sports dampers only but stock springs and want to replace them with a H&R spring kit.

Yes you can use h&r springs with stock sls dampers r, johan used it a lot on track days and it worked fine.

JM, thx for the clarification.

I choose the H&R because I need shorter spring for the billie sport. However, I don't use the car on the track and therefore would like the sprig to be on the comfortable side. I now have billie sport, unknown shorten front spring, working sls, 215/40/17 all round. From what I gathered, the h&r sport (HR-29614) seems to offer the most comfortable ride. If anyone has other suggestion pls pls pls let me know.

As for the rear, is the H&R a lot stiffer than stock ? The H&R comes in a set so I guess I have to buy all 4 springs anyway. But its good to get some feedback beforehand.

Stock SLS springs are very soft because its designed to work with the SLS dampers. However hr springs will work fine with your SLS-damper, sure your ride wil be harsher but i would still say its comfortable enough, but thats a matter of personal taste i guess.

The Cup-Kits are very good , a decent compromise for positive road use and track-days .

The Nordschleife kits are by all accounts very uncompromising .

I have 60/40 Cup-kits on both my 320-24V Coupe , (Very good ) and also my 190 3.6 ( Not finished yet , but relly looking forward to driving it .)
