Hi there, im a 2.5-16 recent owner, and im having problems to understand some things.. Im looking for a decent kit of springs and shocks to my car, because the stock ones are dead, the car is riding on springs witch is anoying. So my idea is to buy a full susp Kit, but i dont know how to perfectly remove the SLS sistem and the implications of that removal.. ASD will be compremised?? I just need to seel the shocks hydraulic cables and.. done? if anyone could povide me with a diagram of the SLS sistem, or tell me were i can find one ill be very thankfull. other thread removed. You will find advice on how to remove the system as there are a few members who have done it. My advice is do ensure your sure before you do it. The SLS system is a good system, parts can be found relatively cheaply, and removing SLS can lower the resale value. Its only my personal view but do check all options before ripping it out. |

The SLS can be lowered too & together with a lowered suspension can still be very effective . Once these cars are set up properly , they are one of the best handling cars ever . Jeremy |
