i have just purchased my first 190. its an 89 2.5 16v. its been sat in a shed for the last 6 years so there is a few mechanical issues with it. first of which is the suspension. i want to change all 4 corners 4 a set of b12 or similar shock & spring combo.

what i want to know is what do you remove/keep to remove the sls from the car???

what happens the ASD????

do you blank the pipes or remove?

have read a lot of info on this topic on site and find it a bit confusing....???.... so all i want is first hand experience on this issue please.

what have you done with yours????

thanks for reading.

Why remove it? Repair and enjoy it. Its a good system and too many cars are having it removed.

But the answer you may want is that on an ASD car the SLS pipes are blanked. Where in the system im unsure but it is possible.
