Hello everybody I m brand new in the forum, also new owner of a 2.5 16v '91 with SLS at the Back and the Front as well (mean there is this switch in the interior, next to the lights' knob, with the 3 positions etc). Facing slight !!! problems - trying to bring system in full operation - now it s going up in the front, when UP, the back not really, but when I put the swith at DOWN position do not see anything happening in the Front and the back. Will start searching the problem from the struts : Since the 3 out of 4 struts are slightly leaking, is there any repairing kit ?? Does anybody know ?? Or do I have to buy new ? Any idea of cost and where still exist ?? Mind the car is in Athens... Have already made a lot of reading in this forum... would like keeping the car original. Thanks for any help |

Is it just a standard 2.5-16?? as its only the Evo thats have the ride height switch. It could have been retro fitted i suppose. I'am not aware of repair kits for the SLS shocks as its rare for them to break. You can buy new ones from Mercedes but they will be expensive you can buy 3rd party ones from other places for cheaper. |

Full SLS was an option on the 2.5-16, a very expensive and rare option. |

omg, that car would be perfect for an EVO1 kit, no worries about the front ride height and gap to arches if you have front sls, DO IT, DO IT NOW!!! lol. evo1 is my fave by far |

Hello there!! Nath thanks a lot for the Russian site. Will talk with my mech. Maybe this helps. Will check for prices. I m afraid here is double price ... No the car was not sitting but was rather neglected ... tryiing to bring it in fair condition. Make it an Evo I, Vaggeli ?? Suppose very costy ... |

No problem. I did wonder if it would be more expensive where you live, might be an idea to try and buy parts direct from Germany. As for making it a fevo. Don't bother, very costly as you say and your car (with your spec) is probably rarer than an EVO. |
