hey guys! im in the middle of a manual conversion and i need to know a few things. what is the plug on the brake light switch between the main plug and the switch.

Do i just disregard the two plugs that plug into the gear selector (is one of these my reverse light switch)? another one one of which being the light for the selector.

i think thats it for now. i know theres a few how 2's as such on here but they dont explain about the details! cheers guys looking forward to your reply!

if you're converting from auto to manual, there will be a inhibitor switch located on the gearbox, this switch stops you from starting the car in drive or reverse.having not worked on a 190 auto gearbox ,i dont know where this switch is located, but it is possible that one of the plugs on the gear selector is it.when you find the inhibitor switch you will need to bridge 2 of the pins in order for the car to be able to start ;)
