There is a level indicator dip stick fixed to the cap on the reservoir.

Hey....can anyone post a photo of the ideal fluid level for sls? Think mine is overfilled :( and presumably this will effect the ride height at the rear? Finally should I measure the fluid level on the dipstick with the car running or engine off? Thanks.....appreciate this topic has been covered to some extent but Im new to 'sls' hence all the obvious questions.

Anywhere between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks on the dip stick is OK. It doesn't make any difference if the engine is running or not. The level always reads the same. On mine anyway.

This is with the fluid filled to the 'MAX' on the dip stick.

No problem mate :)
I forgot to mention, the ride hight will not be affected at all by having to much oil in the bottle. Also it won't be affected by having to little fluid.(below minimum)

Thanks stwat,

If the rear of the car isnt quite what it should be then presumably its the 'spheres' that require attention & not just a simple sls fluid issue? The ride height is perfect when I only have the front seats occupied but when people occupy the rear seats the car seems to occasionally rub (for example if I was going over a speed bump). Any advice? Are the 'spheres' expensive? Much effort in putting them in etc?
