fit a turbo into a 190d 1.9 diesel

can i fit a turbo of a 190d 2.5 turbo into my cars engine.the engine of this car is unerpowered,i feel.
if one can fit a turbo,what all will i have to replace.

you can fit a turbo...............but it will either have to be a after market one or one from a different make car, you wont be able to fit a turbo from a LHD 2.5 TD as they steering box gets in the way of the turbo on RHD models.or another option is to drop another engine that already has a turbo.........................ukmerctechie said something about a 3.0l E300 diesel lump,one of the very first ones (something about the fuel pump having no electronics)

You need the exhaust manifold and down pipe. a turbo from a similar capacity engine and oil feed and drain lines, custom intake piping and an intercooler.
Then fuel pump adjustment in order to alter injection timing to reduce black smoke.

Grab one from a Ssangyong musso 2.9TDi.
They use a licensed version of the M602

Has anyone here fitted a turbo to a 190d 2.0
Would love to know did it work? and was it worth it ?
What turbo if any were fitted?
