I don't have a picture but the block drain plug is under the exhaust manifold. The rad drain plug is bottom left of the rad.

No. It's under the exhaust manifold. ^That's the intake manifold.

You can get at it from under the bonnet. It's quite a long way back, and you'll need a universal joint to get a socket on it IIRC. It's just a hex head I think.

Worth doing though. When I flushed mine through there, I got out tons of muck from a blown head gasket that hadn't been got out previously.

The one in the picture is one of the core plugs.

As above, the drain plug is below the exhaust manifold (driver’s side)

thanks Gents
im on the right side of the engine now!...but i still cant find it ^o)

edit ....i think ive found it ...
right at the back of the engine below exhaust manifold - this is going to be fun... 3/8 inch :o
can only see it from below the car but can only reach it from above
i can see why a few only bother with the radiator plug

Yes, it's tricky...but worth it!

And yes, I had to go and buy a 3/8 UJ as all my main stuff is either 1/2" or 1/4" and my backup 3/8 drive kit didn't come with a UJ. Nothing else would fit.

thanks for all the guidance folks
its as you say Martin, UJ s required. ive got a 19mm or a 3/4 to fit but access is tighter than a tight thing - it wont be getting stolen in a hurry!
