I'm only really here for the Kitchens

First I should say I have no pics, my camera isnt very good in the dark. Come on everyone else, get yer pics up in here :)

Great day out, dunno if it was the cold but there was a real live social aspect I thought, hope I got to speak to everyone, I think I did. We did the forum proud I reckon, great range of cars, great folk, and little to no hooning. Very upset we didnt see a kiddie come of a moped, maybe next time. They were still doing burnouts and wheelies when I left at 11, after the grit truck had been !

Some great non 190 cars too, rather tasty PHAT steel wheeled matt black and matt white 316 bmw. Neil has the pics :)

There was even a fintail tucked up in the corner.

Some great distances travelled to attend too, well done. Now where is the group hug shot :P

Thats not me stu, I had my incredible hat of +2 invisibility on. I was totally invisible for most of it, it seems I am only recognisable by the hair.

I am over in the background by the barrier. Can you see me ? Nope, exactly ! I have my hat on.

Has to be said. What an awesome GTG guys! B)

Was a pleasure to meet you all old and new faces to me after turning up late after 8 :) Martin, Neil, Toff, Jeremy, V, Kenny, Will, both Steve's, Marcus and Hotfuzz at the lights on the way out :P Plus anyone I spoke too where their name never quite sunk in :$

Got to agree with Kenny on the social aspect their was a definitely really good vibe going on and most importantly we got to show the bimmer boys up.

With the exception of them doorcards. V's car stole the show for me with those wheels and that shine.

Roll on the next GTG I say ;)

Really great to see everybody again , and meet those gtg noobs , was weird to see so many dirty cars !!! Those that travelled the longest had the most dirt and salt , so well done to them .

Cars from Bounemouth , Kings Lynn , Northampton (2) , and even further .

Kenny gets the wettest interior award lmao

I prefer the term, "moist" lmao
I had to pull in on the way out to wipe the windows with my gloves :P

Remember it was dark by the time most of us arrived so only those with decent cameras got any pics.

I don't get the concept of a gtg of such magnitude with no pics you should all hang your heads in shame cos most of us only log in to look at the nice pictures, its like saying you buy Razzle to read the articles.... :P lmao lmao

   Way to start a picture thread, Kenny!

Here we go fellas.
Martrider and Marcus H popped over to mine in the W210 bahnstormer, and we rolled up to the Ace...
...in broad daylight
In the car park lay a Lotus, a CLK and a couple of bikes. This was not looking good.

Posted Image

It was 5pm, so I took the above photo and thought "I'll post this up on the 190 forum from my iPhone!"
Over the next half-hour, Martin (with a Blackberry) and I both failed to perform this simple task. iFailed
Anyway, more cars rolled in as the sky turned black...

Paulossie's Nitrous R129!

Marcus got pretty excited about this...

...and there were also some BMWs there. A few utter horrors, tbh.

Hartge E39 Touring, that was really rather lovely.

Kenny's wet dream:

Brilliant turnout I thought, massively impressed by all you guys that drove in from way out to attend :)
Good to put faces to usernames at last, and see these cars up close.

Should be a much better GTG venue on a Summer evening, the outdoor lighting there really is pathetic!

as I said last nite to whoever was listening - there is a direct relationship between quality of pics VS time taken to actually post them - for example - the first pics to be posted will be the dark, grainy, fuzzy ones with fingers in shot - the decent ones (taken by V in full auto mode, no skill required ;) ) will probably be posted around late March ;)

Great people, great cars, BLOODY COLD and some surprisingly good coffee!

I know i probably mentioned this a lot last night but being the only member there without a car was quite weird, i didn't have a bonnet to sit on!

I had a great time last night, and it was fantastic to meet some of the regulars who i have somehow managed to miss actually meeting over the last year couple of years. You are all truly lovely guys. :)

Awesome to see you properly again Marcus, and thank you very much for the lift up there. I think i might have slight whiplash from our trip up though! I am completely in love again with the E55. Although Wills CLK55 was a sight to behold, a truly stunning car. I might be on the lookout. ;)

And Will and I share the same spelling of our surname, and family are from roughly the same area so we are going to look into it as we may well be related! Pretty cool. B)

V - Just thinking, but i think i might have the part you are missing from your sideskirt, i'll have a look when I next go back oop north, and then some more fibreglassing action might be required!

Just a reminder to everyone for Steve (Howson) - He WLTM () a 2.5-16 Head and a mint Astral Silver poverty spec 190 so eyes peeled lads.

Jeremy and Kenny, really nice to finally meet you, and when mine is back on it's wheels, i think a few London based rallys to the nearest tracks might be in order.

Again, great to meet everyone, and i know we say this every year, but lets try for a few more GTGs this year. ;)

Thanks for the pics Neil.

I think V and Old Smokey took quite a few as well (including the group shot!) - a surprising number of decent cameras and photographers, perhaps it's a 190 thing! B)

Plenty of familiar faces and a few that I hadn't seen before - good to see you all :) Was really impressed at the turnout and the commitment from those who'd come from places further afar.

It was freezing though. Even though I knew it'd be freezing, my feet were colder than even I anticipated - took nearly the whole journey home before they thawed out!

Look forward to seeing you all again in the future, maybe as Neil says when the weather warms up again and the days are a bit longer.
