Good on you... thankfully my lap timer is still fully functional! Is there way of keeping it from bleeding?

When i bought my car last year the lap timer was perfect with not a hint of any bleeds. I used it about twice and it almost instantly started to bleed!! The bleed is now halfway up the screen!!

I changed it the other week for another one that also had no bleed when i bought it. I only checked if it was working once after id fitted it. It is now starting to bleed a little in one corner :crying: :crying:

I think the only way to stop them bleeding is to never use the bloody things!!

I've left mine well alone since collecting the car from Andy, and I don't intend to ever switch it on!

I used to use mine occasionally and never had trouble with it - I guess I was lucky.

I think that if it had of gone on me, I'd have picked up another one new - £250 is a lot for a lap timer but they really finish the car off B)

Silly thing is, they ARE repairable.
