guys, im still having probs with my fuel gauge on my cossie, initially it started off flickering badly, quite quickly jumping all over the place - so i swapped the sendor unit with a used item and it was still the same - so put my original back in. I swapped the whole dash over and found it doesnt flicker quickly - but will slowly go up or down by 1/4 tank randomly!!!! any suggestions what to try next - have i been unlucky and got another faulty fuel gauge?> Cheers |

Check the pins in the connector on the sender unit. My fuel gauge stopped working - picked up a replacement sender unit, then when I came to fit it, I found that the earth pin in the connector was loose. Pushed it back to its correct position and the fuel gauge worked again. |
