Hi there, I'm doing an engine change on my car, the new engine had an autobox, so no clutch. So i was planning to use my original clutch. I've had a look at the plate but i'm not sure if its very worn or not. Is there a way to tell, its not worn down to the little bolts yet? ![]() ![]() ![]() It does seem a bit stupid not to replace it while its all out but it'll mean i can put the engine in today, instead of next week when i'll have to borrow the engine crane again. |

£130 for a kit. I've decided to just use it. My dad says it looks ok for plenty of miles yet. |

There is hardly any wear on that at all i'd say. A testament to the quality of these cars. |
