I don't know which model you have, but the fuses are clearly marked on the see-through fuse cover under the bonnet (driver's side) It's a 9 amp, iirc and is easy to fix - just happened on my 2.6. |

Snow! Where are you? Remember, these are continental type 'open' fuses. I don't know what the metal strip is actually made of, but they do go powdery wiith age, reducing their capacity, so keep a stock in the glovebox. They are pennies from any factor. |

Yep. Check the fuses first. If it is the motor it really is an easy fix. There is a walk through pinned at the top of this section. It will take you 1 to 11/2 hours. GSF motor is £56 |

Also check the speed control unit. Its the caged spring looking device somewhere near the battery. Pull it out, clean the contacts, and put it back in. |

Hello Guys, Rummaging around the ECU's the other day,I noticed that one of the springs in the Heater speed control unit was broken and not making contact..!! I've wedged it so they make a contact but ..Is it possible to reconnect them with some solder maybe ..?? What are the springs made of..are they brass or copper or...?? Cosser..!!
