Hi there, I'm currently building my car back up, and need to fill the gearbox oil up. Its a manual box, which oil do I need.

Also I need to bleed the clutch, I've read the bast way is to pump it in through the bleed nipple on the gearbox. Is this right, and am I right in thinking I use brake fluid for this?

Thanks very much, Tom.

Use ATF for the gearbox ,Dex II i think, make sure you can undo the fill bolt before you drain the box.The clutch uses brake fluid.Read the "master cylinder problems"thread about 6 down from this one.Maybe helpful
