Hi there, I need to bleed the clutch on my 190e 2.6. I've read some posts on here which seems to mention a good and simple method for doing so.
I have some questions. Firstly let me get this straight. It means open the bleed screw on the slave, and pump fluid in that way? Secondly where on earth is the master cylinder bleed screw, i can't find it at all. Thats it for now, although I'm sure I'll have more questions. Thanks, tom. |

Bleed the clutch as you would the brakes.An eezi bleed makes life much simpler.Connect the eezi to the brake fluid reservoir and bleed through the slave cylinder bleed nipple.If you use the eezi bleed let some pressure out of your spare tyre before you start,around 15 psi should be good |

I don't really want to buy any eezi bleeds, having had a read about people have had nothing but trouble using them and the usual method trying to bleed the clutch, so UKMerchtechie's method seems much better. I just have no idea where the master cylinder bleed screw is? If anyone can help I will be most grateful. Tom. |

I tried all methods I could think of when I changed the master cylinder, but nothing worked. Buy a pressure bleed kit. It bled mine up in about 30 seconds. And I have spent 2 days trying it the old fashioned way to not avail. Pressure bleed kit all the way. Wel worth 13 quid. |

hi you fill the resivoir up with brake fluid and one end of you ezebleed will screw on to the top then undu the bleed nipple and then on the other end of the ezebleed should go onto the valve of your tyre and the pressure out of the tyre pushes the air out once you have fluid comming out of the nipple with no air fastern up the bleed nipple dont let the resivoir level go too low or it will drag air in and you will have to do it again. check to make sure the peddal fells ok if not repeat again as there probabally is still some air in system hope this helps |

Just make sure to drop the tyre pressure to around 15psi. 30+psi is to high. |

Some cylinders did not have a bleed nipple,if it becomes a pain bleeding it reversed,just loosen the outlet pipe from the M/C until you have fluid coming out and then follow the instructions from there. |

The kit I used had another separate pressurised bottle that you filled with fluid. So all that went into the reservoir was fluid. Definaly let the tyre pressure down tho. Also coz I had a new master cylinder I put it in a glass full of fluid so it was fulli submerged and pumped it until no air bubbles could be seen. |
