No need to drain again. When i said check for leaks i meant air leaks. Its a vacuum valve which opens and closes the valve to the matrix. If it has any cracks in the air pipe leading to it or the valve diaphragm is split then it wont be able to hold enough pressure to keep flap/valve to/form the matrix open for very long. |

I know you have probably done this but it's worth mentioning just in case. Make sure both heater dials are in the full hot position. Also these cars can take quite a bit of bleeding to get all the air out. On my first 190, a 2.0l i ended up having to get the front end up on axle stands and giving the engine some proper revs to eventually get all the air out. Good luck with it mate. Stu |

Out through the header tank. Fill up with the correct amount of coolant then top up with water. Then start and run the engine untill all the air has bled out. Let the engine cool down and top up the header tank up to the maximum mark. |

As Stwat says get the nose up a bit, both heater controls on hot, and when the motor is warm rev it a bit to pump the air out. |
