Hi All, Need some advice regarding the oil warning light on the dash which is always on (oil hot or cold). This despite the fact that I've just replaced the sensor on the sump and refilled with oil. Have been searching out some old threads on the forum and am now thinking its something electrical. Saw something about earthing problems but not sure what that could be? So, any ideas on what to check next? Anybody know what route the wiring takes from the sensor to the dash? (Hopefully I don't need to take the dash out !) Where would this connection be earthed? Any and all thoughts gratefully received. Its driving me potty, especially as I've just spent the £40+ on a new sensor which might have been unnecessary! Btw, oil pressure is always great - up at 3 when idling and under acceleration. Regards, Harvesters23 |
