I started fitting the 16v engine loom to my 1.8 and i've come across some things which im not sure of THis first one is located between the brake servo and the earth strap on the DS. Any ideas what this is for?? Its part of the 1.8 setup ![]() This second one is part of the 16v loom which runs from the fuse box and down the drivers side for lighte washer bottle etc.. Correct me if im wrong but i think its a relay of some sort possibly for headlamp washers??? Im not putting the headlamp washers in my car so can i leave this loom out and just keep the 1.8 one in??? ![]() Also does anybody know if any of the 16v engine loom should enter the interior of the car for any reason?? And can i use th 1.8 clocks or do i need to fit the 16v ones Any help appreciated Marc |

You need to use the 16v clocks, the mystery part is the switching solenoid for the E/S switch on the auto box,the extra fusebox is indeed for the h/lamp washers and also the a/c relays fuses if fitted. Yes it does enter the car for the speed signal and rev counter feed. Edited by Ukmerctechie, Thu Mar 11, 2010 10:59 pm.
