As above, I need a temp sender for my '92 2.0 auto. Had a quick look on the system at the stealer's but there seems to be a hundred and one switches and senders on there! Anyone got the part no? Cheers. |

Not sure which sender you're talking about, if it's the 'sensor' (Feeler) behind the bumper it is probably 0015422618 But you should be able to get the info from MB dealership in relation to your car (model) |

Sorry, may be a bit of confusion here. Is that the sensor for the OTG you're talking about Barrie? It's the sender that sends the temperature to the temp gauge that I need. I've been told that it goes on the water pump? My dealer nowadays can't do a thing unless I have a part no first...

Sorry for the missunderstanding Andy, yep that's the one for the OTG I gave you. I know the one you mean now but on my 2ltr inj. it doesn't go in the water pump, it goes in the front left side of the head with a single plug, sorry I don't know the Pt. Nr. but somebody with the EPC will probably come up with it. |

If it´s single pin sender it will look like this:![]() If there is no like that one it may be inside the tempswitch for the fan, looking like this and plugging into the single pin: ![]() It´s all depending on what car you´ve got Both should be on the upper front side of the engine. |

beware though the two pin sender is to the ecu......and is £64 quid and only from maindealer, its a 22 jobbie to take off. the other 1 pin is indeed the temp sender to the gauge in the car. £8.64 from gsf with owners discount and its the only sender they list i believe Edited by smiffy, Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:07 pm.
