Does the rear windscreen surround come off because i want to spray it black like i have done with the front screen and the roof strips but didnt no if comes of or it is part of the rear screen. |

it does, but you can only refit it with the rear window out as it fits into the rubber before the windscreen is fitted |

its not as hard as you would think remove the parcel shelf amd side panels around the c post work the rubber back with your fingers away from the car pushing it towards the screen you can the push it out with your feet and prize it out from the strip on the outside i done little picture right up on it somewhere ive always says its best to goto a scrap yard and try it on one of the cars there first just to get an idea of what your doing dont matter if you break it then lol |

go to a breakers and get a spare windscreen, you can get them out easier if you cut the seal lip from the inside. Then remove your original screen without cutting the seal then you have a spare just in case it does break. Alternativly find a local old school windscreen guy and get him to remove it and replace it later. Thats what i did, cost £70 all together and he was prepared to accept liability if it broke. |
