Not had time to investigate yet, but when i put my car away tonight, i locked the doors with the remote and it locked ok, but a few seconds later the alarm would go off, i tried unlocking and locking several times but the same thing happened.Anyone got any ideas what causes this?

Low battery often sets alarms off. Worth checking. I had a problem with a stiff door lock once which meant it locked but then unlocked a few seconds later. Could be similar ? It never set my alarm off but I would be amazed if it did as that car never had a working alarm. Would have scared the bejesus out of the spiders that lived in the alarms horn !!!!

sorted it!the bulb in the boot had blown, which is on the same switch as the alarm, i took the bulb out and tried locking it and unlocking and it was fine, so i'l replace the bulb tomorrow.Don't know why a blown bulb should make a difference but it did!

A blown bulb sometimes leaves an 'Open Circiut' depending how it's wired up. |
