Hi, sorry to resurrect this old thread but I am having the same exact issues on my 300sl (w107) with an M103 engine so I was wondering if the root cause was ever found and fixed? Many thanks in advance. |

If yur car stops , the next time take a look at the rev counter and see if the needle moves as the engine tiurns over .When you do get it running and it is missing ,pull off a spark lead [ ht wire ] till you find no change in the running of the engine . That will be the faulty lead Remove the ht lead with insulated pliers or you will get a pair of wings on yoiur back and you wont need a car |
