propshaft bolt size

sorry if this has been posted before but what size socket will i need to take the donuts off? and also are thay bolts both side because in the picture thay look like 1 side is an allen key or some thing?

Mine were 15mm on the bolt heads, and 17mm on the nuts iirc. No allen keys on mine just nuts and bolts. If your doing the front one, access is a little tight. I took off the gearbox support bracket, also jacked up the rear wheel. Then you can get in and do one at a time, and rotate the propshaft as required.

thanks very much my man! i was looking at the gearbox support beam and not sure if it was fine to take it off just in case the gearbox fell out! do u need 2 put a axle stand under the gearbox or any thing?

Yeh, I did, either that or just support it with a jack. Its helpful to lower the gearbox/engine a touch though, as it makes access a fair bit easier.
