Unplug the Lambda sensor and see if the mpg/performance improves..?? Have you had the car tuned at all..it may be running very rich..which would give you bad mpg..I corrected my mixture by trial and error and my mpg has gone up from 15.8 mpg to 23.36 mpg ....!! Also if you use normal unleaded fuel (95 ron) and you have the EZL set to S( 1) you will get lower mpg..try it on N (3).. ??

It was running to lean but its seems to be running to rich at the moment, adjusting it didn't make any difference mpg wise or power. The ezl is set to S already.

Would unplugging the lambda sensor not make it worse?

If something like that happens to me, that would mean a bloody fight and no more friend....

Anyways...
On the interesting stuff now...How is the car doing? did you sort anything out?
BTW I think that a manifold for carbs will cost you around £170 from Bogg Bros and you can find quad carbs from e-bay. Just look for honda fireblade carbs or Kawasaki carbs. that way your mods will be quite cheap.
If you go the throttle body route, you will need a programmable ECU as well + trigger wheel for ignition timming. You can also ran fuel only management and the stock ignition but you wouldn't have the same potential of tunabilty as a Fuel + ignition control.

He was quick I literally turned my head away for a few seconds and it was there lol

The bike carbs would be excellent but I am in no way mechanically minded so I'd have to get someone to do it for me. Finding someone whose done it before would be difficult in Northern Ireland.

Im gonna replace the servo and brake cylinder, the car is losing brake fluid but its not leaking it outside the engine so the fluid could be going from the servo to the manifold. Apart from that and adjusting the fuel mixture, I'm all outta ideas! :(

Oh right, is N not for fuels in countries like asia, africa? I use 95 ron petrol so I assumed S would be correct.

Stuu I bet that your hydraulics loose fluid from somewhere else.
Check the clutch master and slave. Lift the driver's carpet and check for fluid in the footwell area. Also have a look underneath the car (driver's side) on the gearbox. If it looks oily could be brake fluid from the slave.

There was both new master and slave clutch cylinders put onto the car a few months ago. I'll lift the drivers carpet and check for fluid.

You are correct. The N is for countries with very poor/low ron fuel. S is the correct setting for 95+ Ron.

Cheers stwat. The one thing i still don't get was the emissions were perfect in the car yet the duty reading is 33 - 38% which is way to rich. How can that be?

I adjusted the fuel mixture and it's now reading 46 - 51% and then at 2500rpm 38% which is spot on. No increase in performance, hopefully it should be easier on fuel now. There's still something wrong with the car, I'm gonna get a compression test done soon.

Found it is the slave cylinder leaking in the car, its only about 2 months old but was very cheap from GSF! So ordered a new one today, a more expensive one.

Checked the front exhaust, its totally clear which is a downer as i thought it could have been the problem
