Hydraulic lifters

hi, I want to change my lifters, havent invested in a haynes manual yet, was wondering if anyone could give me a quick run through of the job and the relevent tourque settings... its a 2.0 8v!

Just weighing up the job to see if i want to do it my self or not! Many thanks

Did mine last year and it's an easy job, just get Haynes and it is easy to follow, ;)

Everything you need to know is well explained.

And I'm pretty sure it is also explained in the forum.

Only takes an hour or so.

i didnt actually change mine but i had the cam and rocker arms and everthing off within 15 mins, so id have thaught changing them wouldnt take too long.

Thanks for the help, got bored and had a go, had it done with in two hours!

Wuld have been quicker if it wasent for the annoying little seat bit that the lifter sits in, making a jump for the nearest narrow space lol
