hi all im havin a problem with my 2.6 its been stood and not started since december and was running fine when i parked it up but now wont start i have checked all the usual stuff leads, distributor cap, rotor arm, etc an have tracked the problem down to the fuel injection distributor. i have fuel going into the injector distributor and fuel going out back to the tank and there is fuel at another pipe which goes to what i think is a sensor these all have pressure at them when i break the connectors but the six injector pipes have a slight weep of fuel when cranking the engine. has anybody encountered this problem or possibly know what it could be or where i can get some info on it. also does anyone know if i can take the injector distributor apart without destroying any gaskets or seals? would appreciate any help or advice anyone could give me thanks chris |

chances are the pluger under the f/d is stuck sticking or the little fine mesh filters are blocked taking it apart is a no no really have you tried hitting the top of it with a hammer whilst turning the engine over ? tbh the best bet is prob get one from a member breaking one or a scrap yard. new costs a lot of money |
