or you could go for an e36 m3 splitter,looks rather fetching on a 16v f-bumper.

get from the bmw main dealers for a measly 30 odd quid brand new. trust me there cheap as chips from md.

Sorry to harp on about this, but the Renault items are Lips, not Splitters.
A Splitter has a leading edge that divides the airflow both up and under the car. It may even extend underneath the engine.
A Lip merely extends the depth of the front bumper apron.

This is an E36 M3 Splitter mounted onto a 16v bumper;

This is an Evo-1 Splitter mounted onto a 16v bumper. It consists of two pieces;

and this is a proper Motorsport Splitter mounted onto a BMW E36 M3. It incorporates an engine undertray to aid airflow;

^^ exactly what I was thinking.

Is it a splitter or a 'front-lip' that you need?

What do you mean a 'deeper' splitter, as in one that is longer in depth?

To be honest, adding a Renault lip-spoiler to the front of a 16v bumper looks just fine - nice and subtle.

If you double up the front spoiler it would look like you have driven over something and you are dragging it along.

Is your car lowered at all? If so, then the Renault lip spoiler is all you need.

Anything more than that and it will look plain stupid and tacky.

There was another front lip spoiler made by Rieger to fit the 8v bumpers and that is considerably bigger, but again it doesn't suit the car as much as the Renault front spoiler suits a 16v bumper.

This is a Renault Lip, but I think it might be from an Espace;

I'm afraid you're not really left with a lot of options then mate.

Do you want it for a functional reason or is it just for show? If it's for show, I can't really see why wou would want anything more than a Renault front lip?

You might want to go down the custom route.

Good luck with your search!

It was me that fitted Jags's Espace splitter, it takes longer to fit than the Laguna item.

This is cause it's deeper, more of a mission to shape and fit round..

If your looking for an even deeper one than that, then go for vw vr6 item, it's around 3" thick or maybe
a bit more..

Its less than 3" I was hoping to go. The Renault one you fitted was really the max size I would go for.

Thanks,
Rob

cos-rob, go Laguna if you want to go less.

that is probably the best and easiest one to fit on a 190, I have tried a couple others and cause of the shape of our bumpers there a bit hard.

espace looks spot on jags 190, but his pulls it off, the colour i reckon.mr motorsports also looks just as good with the laguna on it.

i had no hassle with the laguna as low as it was.

Sticking bits of French tat on to a W201. Tut, tut........ :lol:

E36 M3 lip is the best imo. Although I think they sould be smoothed due to the gaps and then painted with that black plastic stuff, for that oem look.
