Tidy. I must admit I do like the 230K C class. It was only the interior on the C class that put me off. How do you find it compares to the 190? Stu |

I still hav a C280 sport... W202.... its my daily drive... hard as nails and a very very satisfying to drive.... I was thinking of selling it but its such a fantastic car to drive.... |

That's lovely, I'm quite partial to the facelift W202 in sport trim, I had an esprit but always wanted it to turn into a sport! I found the W202 to be a decent enough car, the only things I found inferior to the 190 was the finish of the bodywork and some of the interior materials. But I liked the way the dash still had a bit of the old Merc look about it and had no qualms about the mechanicals, I racked up a few miles in mine and it was totally reliable, no problems at all. Just a shame it was only 8 years old and had rust on all wheel arches and around the boot lock... Yours is immaculate though, proof there are good ones out there! |

The C230K & the 190 are totally different. The C230K has the power and handling and a lot more modern. I keep up with my girlfrineds Impreza round the twisty roads in it, then pass her on the straights The 190 feels a lot better quality-wise, slower, but being a 190, it speaks for itself. It feels like how a classic should. The C230 has rust in a few places, whereas the 190 has none. If i had to keep one and sell one, I'd keep the 190 |
