Can you tell me the diffrence from the 2.5 om602 i think it is and the 2.9 om602? Cus they are very the same enigne but one has 300 odd more cc.

It looks like the 2.9 were fitted to sprinters and G-Wagens.

I think the 2.7 litre engine Ssangyon use is very close to the 2.5 litre OM602, I think it's just bigger sleeves & pistons, I've read somewhere that the 2.9 is also stroked, it's still a mechanical injection system but it is direct injected & has a rotary distributor type pump instead of the more familiar plunger style injection pump.

You didnt ask about the fuel system, just engine (in my line of work fuel systems are entirely seperate) Had you been more specific and less cocky when asked for specifics then I may have been more helpful and forthcoming. All you have achieved here is make me give your threads a wide berth in the future.
