Newly purchased W115 should be arriving tomorrow, lots of welding to do on it along with a few repairs to my 190. Got a £500 tax refund (only took HMRC 14 months) so im looking to buy a welder. Read through a few buying guides recommending to stear clear of the cheaper screwfix end of the market. Anyone got any recommendations, ideally something under £300? |

Cebora (as supplied to SnapOn) do a nice line of MIG's, your budget is a little small to get a new set but you may sneak a bargain on ebay - You want to get a pub bottle of gas, gasless and small cylinders are a waste of time. I use an Oerlikon Citoline 2000M, if you can find a 2nd hand Oerlikon I can highly recommend them, I think Gibpetrolhead runs one as well. Found a couple of Ceboras ending soon.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CEBORA-883-POCKET-MIG-/330447297165?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_BOI_Metalworking_Milling_Welding_Metalworking_Supplies_ET&hash=item4cf0319a8d http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/cebora-mig-welder-/140422635532?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20b1d7600c |
