New mounts, no difference ?

Just fitted new merc engine mounts plus gearbox mount and the cars still shaking at tickover
Any ideas what i can spend my hard earned cash on next :(

Did you buy genuine MB/Febi mounts?

I've had new engine mounts on mine and its made a big difference, the whole car would shake before on tick over and now its rock solid.

Is it just an out of balance idle then ? are all cylinders roughly equal and behaving themselves

The idle is a little lumpy,if you sit at traffic lights,every 5-6 seconds the rev needle will drop a smidgen then recover,nothing serious maybe 50-100 revs at most.Then shaking is constant at tickover.Above 1500 revs it's smooth

Check your cylinder pressures. They should all be as near as possible the same and above 140psi.
