Have you ever heard of an Italvlanti steering wheel? Had a guy looking at my car today & he told me that the steering wheel would have been an expensive item, he wanted to know how much I paid for it but I got it with the car? :)

I'm only really here for the Kitchens

Yep grison is great at certain things. Its fantastic for dying the little white cracks/scuffs that appear and generally making it look better. It would work wonders on your seat base and bolster.

If the leather has lost its surface and doesnt look waterproof (keeps happening to my steering wheels) then I am not as sure. It does bring a proper coating back, just hides discoloured bits.

here is a thread I did on it

Italvolanti, made steering wheels for AMG. They used the same design for VW, Toyota, Saab, Mercedes, Mistubishi and their own version as found in the picture.

Funny that AMG used a 3 bolt boss and the rest used a universal 6 bolt version. These wheels were available in leather and wood.

The leather is good quality but as with most steering wheels does not respond well to dyes, it simple wear off.

Ive bought and sold a few of these currently I have 1 as a spare which I have painted with Halfords Matt Black paint, and it look excellent and does not peel off as i expected.
