Hello again, After finally working out how to get the c pillar vents off, I was faced with green stuff. I cleaned away the 'stuff' and it seems as though there is some sort of rubber seal between the body and the vent, I was wondering if this can be replaced as it has gone hard and cracked and came away when i cleaned out the vent. Here are some (blury) before and after pics. Before: ![]() After: ![]() |

I seem to remember a similar thread recently and the cost from an MB dealership was quite reasonable. Its funny, certain things are very good value, and lots is really expensive. Always worth getting a part number just in case. In my experience it tends to be the rubber and plastic bits that work out good value. |

Get them from the dealership. I think mine were about £20 a set.You will need to order a left and a right. Take care to feed the sun roof drain pipe into the rubber boot when you feed it back up the c pillar.

I did mine last year aswell, think the part numbers are in my thread. The hardest part was definatley getting the sunroof drain pipes back in. Andy (UKmerctechie) helped me do mine and even he said there a **insert swear word here** too do and he never usually changes them. |

When I did mine it wasn't the rubber vents that had perished. The sealant that had been used to seal the vent to body had dried out and cracked. I removed the old sealant, and re-sealed with some windscreen sealer. |
