Will it go straight in? Using the 2.6 prop and driveshafts?

A 2.5 16v ASD fitted mine fine, although my 2.6 already had an ASD diff fitted from the factory.

Hi,

Phil - Which 16v Diff is it ?

If its a 2.3 16v LSD and the 2.6 had
ABS only then it should just bolt
straight in to the existing shafts
and propshaft.

If its a 2.5 16v with ASD, and the
2.6 did not have ASD, your going to
require ASD Halfshafts, but the prop
should be ok.

Hope that helps,

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Hi,

NZ_190- so long as you have the
correct half shafts and its not from
an ASD car you will be fine.

Bump I got a diff lined up for my 2.6 auto with ABS. the diff is one with LSD of a non ASD 2.6 will this work fine and match up with the half shafts etc? Basically what I'm wondering is if its just a straight swap no fuss? Are the ratios the same?
