had a slight leak from the small flanged joint where the heater flow pipe joins the matrix, i tried undoing the flange and putting a sealant called LSX for domestic heating systems behind the flange then tightened up again but it still leaked, this afternoon i clamped off the rubber flow pipe in the engine bay and turned the heater off on the dash, then undone the 2 flange bolts and prized the pipe out of the matrix with a thin screwdriver and pulled it forward just enough to get a better look at the joint, it had what i thought was a rubber o ring on the pipe when i prized it off it was plastic with a split in it, i went to the local plumbing shop bought a rubber o ring 50p put it back to gether run the engine to approx 100 degrees no leak, im well happy as i was getting well fooked of as the passenger side of the front screen always misted up from this leak,
