Soon the car is due for a full service, it will have the full monthy: oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs and leads, transmission fluid and filter, fuel filter, diff oil. My question is where can I get them from for a competitive price without loosing on quality? (I hate trolling the internet and taking notes then comparing them.) If the difference is only a few quid I would rather get the quality part.
Is there such a place that I can just walk in and get all the bits at once?

If you walk into your local ECP or GSF you should be able to walk out with all of that stuff no problem. The only thing I would say to be slightly selective on is the plugs and your choice of oil i.e a good brand of non resister ones like Bosch and oil wise a good 10W/40 like Mobil Super S which is what MB use.

try look in supermarkets for the oil as some have some good deals on branded gallons like mobil super s was 11 for a 5 litre not so long agao at tescos express.

as chris mentioned ecp or gsf but i have no experience at gsf so i would say ecp.

i got my service items from richy 190E plugs were NGK BP5EFS for my 2.6 and rest was MANN filters for the air, oil and fuel .

hope that helps

NO!!!!!!

Dealers sell Champion spark plugs.

My 2.0 hated them and ran like a bag of spanners, Bosch ones arn`t that expensive from GSF.

Also LOOK at the supermarket oil, Tescos are know to sell 4 liter tubs ;)

Just got 5 liters from B&Q for the 300TD at £12

The only place i could get the correct non resister plugs for my 2.3-16 was the dealers. And yes they are Champion and the car runs great with them :)

Maybe its different with non valver cars but i'd recommend them all day long!

I will use NOTHING but NGK.. Champion is French for crap, and never had any good experiences with Bosch. NGK!
