Hi, i'm from spain. My 2.3 16 have an original 3.07 diff with ASD and i have just buy a 3.92 ASD from a 190 2.6.
I want to make the LSD effect bigger and i'm thinking in open the diff and add more disks. Is this posible?
Thanks.

Hello and welcome. I am afraid that I cannot answer your question 100% on adding more friction discs to the diff.
What people usually do is to rebuild the diffs and if more bite is required then a spring block can be added so you have more clamping force due to the springs.
There is also a member that modified the ASD system so it locks upon request by the use of a hydraulic cylinder conncted to the existing ASD pipes.

Hi,

BlackCerb- Read the post and ''link'' by Matsalleh76.

http://190rev.net/forums/showthread.php?p=435956

I do not think you can increase
the ''lock up'' on a ASD diff the way
your thinking.

You need a LSD from a early
2,3 16v to do what your thinking.

The Gorilla.
