Did you get any type of warranty? Really you should of asked for advice before you brought it as there were a few issues with the car when looking at the pictures.

FEAR NOT!

You are in the right place, everyone here will assist with guiding you through everything you require.

1st things first, You'll be able to source a Windscreen in the Breaking Members 190's for Spares FOR SALE section. You'll just have to pay for somebody to fit it!

Your car looks great, and with a lil money spent on it will be exactly what you want it to be.

If it has been clocked, what service history/MOTs does it have with it?

I would always get a new screen as they are bonded into the car and rarely come out cleanly. In addition given the age of these cars a large number of screens will have started to de laminate at the edges. Why not have it replaced on your insurance?

If you look around the internet you can get an LUK clutch for not much money.

Have you no sort of warantee with the car givcen that you have just bought it for a lot of money?

There are ways of getting your windscreen replaced under you insurance , but read your policy first then come back to us .

If you genuinely think your car was clocked then there is redress .

You should be able to get a clutch for about £150 + 2-3 hours fitting .

Hey jeremy why you are selling all your 190's? lol
He always buys one, drives it for a bit, wants a faster one and sells it on to fund a massive engine transplant

It really is hilariously easy to get into the clocks on these cars.

Basicly take the clocks out and get to the speedo.
there will be a small cog on a grub screw, push it back in.

Hi,

This is the Car that was advertised on
Piston Heads by a Trader and was
sated has having undergone a full
'rebuild and refurbishment' program.

For 8K i would have it back on their
Doorstep in an instant demanding that
either they fulfil there obligations under
the Trade descriptions act, or they purchase
back the goods.

This car was up for 9,999 originally and
perspective purchasers were invited to
to look at the rebuild program.

Make the dealer stand on, FULL STOP.

Your problems clearly show that the works
were not as descibed in their adverts relating
to the goods they were selling.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

The milometres on 190s have the tendcy to stop working if you zero them when your driving along. If the cars stopped then its fine but when your moving along something can drop of the back and has to be put back in.

Where are you based? i'am sure some of the guys here would be glad to take a look at your car.

You paid serious money for that mate!!

if it was me I'd be taking it straight back to the dealer to get them to fix all problems ASAP!

A car as described by the seller should not need a new radiator and clutch  I would seriously question whether it has actually had such a complete rebuild as the seller advertises.

This could be a clear case of 'not as described'.

I would find a good specialist near to you and get a full inspection done. Then take the report straight to the trader and demand your money back.

Hi mate, have you got this sorted out ,get it right back to the dealer take no s..t from him tell him you want your money back or you
will have to get trading standards involved . once you mention them he wont hesitate in doing you justice, for that sort of money i would be battering his door
down, you have rights under the trades description act. good luck :driver:
