welcome to the forum, lovely car you have there, I love the mods you have done, and of course the friendly wave in the first pic lmao

I notice your using one of those 12v jacks. Any good ? I keep considering buying one coz I am just that lazy but it just feels like they cant be that well made, or they may turn out to take an age to lift the car up.

I see exactly what you're saying, I've seen similar on 500E's! Thing is the wheels are Azurite blue to match the car and considering I've already colour coded the grill slats I think It'd be overkill to match that bit too and black just wouldn't work!

That was actually at the garage in Ilford where my pal was working at the time, one of the dudes there loved lowering old mercs haha - who was I to stop him :D

Anyway, no idea about the jack but it seemed sound haha! Only a temp solution this though, I'd love to get air but the prices are still high so when it's back I'll next look to get. Bilsteins - I've heard they're the ones to go for??

Well it'd be rude not to haha, I'd just driven half way round the M25 to pick it up I was shattered lol.

It's only on 86k with a full history, picked it up for £3,500 - pretty good from what I can tell, although it's only a 220 which was maybe a mistake.

Having said that I recently had a full mild steel system built by Flowtec (with plenty of boxes so it was quiet!) Which de catted it and it drives pretty good :D

Aha finally you joined dear fellow.... Actually now you are here I might leave!!

No seriously great car and a great chap Ninja man and I are of similar age although he looks far older than me we have known eachother since teen age years Ninja always had mainly Jap stuff but also some German fair in the way of dubs anyway OYD5P and I brainwashed him (god you shud have seen the **insert swear word here** that came out lmao lmao lmao ) OkmOk at this point prob pushed him to far :help: :help: ........ see how long that takes before a bite ensues!! This is his first venture into the world of Benz and you are smitten right? I saw the look on his face last nmight as he sat in the passenger seat of mine pining for his car back ( Or was it the gimp mask I had on lmao lmao ) I know where you coming from mate I have been there many a time its worse if you have your license taken away and have to watch your car sit there for a year or so.

This car is going to look fabulous when its done. Oh and by way of cheekyness humour and cause Jezzer done it.... Oh and in reality Ninja man has stated this car below gave him his original inspriration to get behind the wheel of a Benz. (If I am lucky I will get chastised by Niel too)

Here she is my 24V CE Ninja's original inspriration so he told me sure he will clarify in his own humerous way soz Viv cud'nt help a little piccie of mine shes is nestled up in that garage of mine waiting for a prince to kiss her back to life. Well you know me well and kissing wont be top of my list lmao lmao lmao

I'm a happy lad :D

Decreasing arch gap clearance on old Benz's is a mofo, especially as it's on it's **insert swear word here**

I'd love to cut another coil off really but it's a daily so I need a little compromise unfortunately  nearly smashed my door filling up earlier:

the rear spacers didn't have as much impact as I expected, shows you can go pretty wide on these with smaller tyres (wouldn't see 10" rears being an issue at all) but the stance is drastically improved with them on!

oh, while I was waiting I got some spare visors from a salvage yard and made these too: :D

all I need to do now is fit the steering wheel and enjoy it! what do you think???

Loving your CE fella, it's looking fresh to death! My brother's is exactly the same as yours before any of the mods. What are those rims btw? I think the stance is spot on, how much did you cut off the springs?

Inspirational coupe for sure! B)
