changing the fluids tonight ,just wanted to know how much the diff unit held before i start.

85-90w but the place i go to sells it in litres, would 1 litre do it?

flexi discs look and feel ok but im getting fed up with the whine of the diff, hoping it may quieten it down a bit.

Yes 1 litre will do it mate.

Don't be too p1ssed off if the new oil doesn't quieten it down much though. It didn't make much difference to mine :-/

Not true only just blew the diff up in my 16v last week and that wasn't nice

One all mighty bang! Followed by lots of metal smashing and bashing lol I don't think it was the whine that was the tell tale that it was going to go but more like the amount of play it had!
