changing the fluids tonight ,just wanted to know how much the diff unit held before i start. 85-90w but the place i go to sells it in litres, would 1 litre do it? flexi discs look and feel ok but im getting fed up with the whine of the diff, hoping it may quieten it down a bit. smiffy |

Yes 1 litre will do it mate. Don't be too p1ssed off if the new oil doesn't quieten it down much though. It didn't make much difference to mine |

Before you drain undo the fill plug a turn first, nowt worse than dropping it and finding you cant put it back in

Not true only just blew the diff up in my 16v last week and that wasn't nice One all mighty bang! Followed by lots of metal smashing and bashing lol I don't think it was the whine that was the tell tale that it was going to go but more like the amount of play it had! |
