but it is all out drift car thats been turned road legal (just about...)

powers about 320ish but limited to 110mph... but to be honest im scared @70 let alone 100! thing fooking skims acros the road, no give in suspension at all! , fillings have fallen out and i think im about an inch shorter :P

soooo much fun to drive though, its just like a big go kart! and the wet/ice only makes it more fun lol

You have no idea how jealous i am Chris. Seriously. I do not want to talk to you again. Ever.

But if you fancy coming up to London to show me then i might think again.

Very nice buy. All looks straight, the worst thing you might have to do is put a new engine in. TBH, i wouldn't even bother with it on the road, looking like that you might as well just track it only. Fantastic buy. Dare i ask how much?

its horrible on the roads, theres practically no give in the coilovers, but its soo fun :P

engines actually running great, no VVT rattle, just a slight boost leak (one of the intercooler pipes has a hole in due to rubbing no the body, so an easy fix)

got her for 3.8k which for the spec is a bargain! a normal s body usualy sells from 2-4k with barry mods where as this ones already sorted for what i want :D

Its funny talkin Beemers cause my mate thought my 55 was a CDI he was ripping me to pieces asking me why I had bothered buying an old merc smoker a part of me wanted to tell him its was an AMG but the darker side of me thought Nah lets see what the old girl can do against a 7 year younger and posier M3! And he got munched to my suprised absolutley munched I thought it should have been close in his E46 M3 sounding like a bucket of nails I honestly thought the engine was running low on oil still he wished he hadnt poked fun when on the bypass he got ridiculed I know those E46's are fast but you need someone who really does know how to drive them properly and not pose when we got to the next juntion he pulls up quite sheepishly at which point I told him to chuck me his Ray Ban a few extyra pounds saved might give you a few extra seconds to knock of your accelaration  He wasnt impressed.

I guess its lucky Chris you have that M powered V8 :D ??? ;)

Right back on Topic so Tokyo Drift whos up for some lmao lmao lmao

I can't believe you got all of that, plus all the added extras for that amount of money. If you hear of anything of a similar ilk, then please let me know Chris!

You've basically got a top flight drift spec car there with change from £4k. You could almost compete in any rift formula in the world with that spec!

I know what i'd do, but it would involve saving up an driving to Japan. ;)

im tempted to sell teh seats and get new rails/seats/harnesses though as they are a PITA, one side mount (too wide) 1 baser mount (no rails available for 200sx) ... sigh

Fcuk me! That spec must add up to some serious dosh 20k plus? :o

I'm quite surprised with myself that i actually like the bloody thing  Definitely not my normal cup of tea but i can seriously see the appeal, having owned a tuned to the hilt Turbo car myself not so long ago B)

There is no better rush than having way to much power than is actually needed :D Mine would spin the rear tyres in 5th gear when the boost kicked in  I remember when i first picked the car up and it was raining. I floored the throttle to overtake a car whilst i was in 5th and the rears just lit up and the car went sideways at around 90mph  I fooking shite myself but managed to get it back in line again :D

God i miss that car.

Good luck with this one mate and lets have some more pics please B)

I'm so over CrysAks, im too jealous to talk to him now. *huff*

Erm....Sorry, did i mention how jealous I am??? And how ridiculous that price is, it's utterly unfair and I hate you. :P

I genuinely had a dream the other day I was just merry-lee chatting away with a host of D1 drivers (In Japanese, which was slightly odd!!!) and having a blast at Ebisu and and the Cycle Tack.

I'd still choose an RX7 or an S2000, but it does become unbelievably expensive after seeing the quality from Cuszco at the last show.

Right, off to dream again, night all. ;)

looks really good! please keep it a Zenki, i like them way more than Koukis for sure. also my one suggestion is to ditch the HKS mushroom, not a very good filter and sometimes fall apart and get sucked into the turbo (!!!!) thats awesome you got a cage and a hydro thrown into the deal, looks like a pretty sorted car

good to see your joining the midnight wangan! Think once you've swung the back end past a few locals they'll get to know you - rx7 is a wonderful car too, you can get away with a rebuild up to 60k providing it's been looked after and not thrashed too much - any engine bay pics?

Thats an S15 pal! The one I'm trying to fetch!!!

BHP is @ 320 the last rolling road, but has a boost leak / shitty acculator so overfuleing atm + restrctied to 115mph ...

replaced the subframe bushes with solid and think the rear shocks are blown .. so . once the BMWs fixed (worn CV joint) ill be taking them off and shipping them back to japan for a rebuild.

hopefully should stop the bouncing and knocking ... then ill throw on an engine brace and make sure the engine, gearbox and diff mounts are all in good shape.

then.... try find boost leak / new acculator and get it remapped before i throw it round some curves :D

this puppy kept indoors i hope??

seroiusly cool motor and much respect saying you shat your pants @ 70 mph :D trouble is its the speed it takes you to do 0-70........sod all in these machines!

keep us posted bo. ;)

lol

well found the reasoning to shitting myself at 70 :P

as previously mentioned, loose sub frame (now solid bushes) but also the rear coilvoers were completly blown and jsut riding on 10kg springs!!! understandable the PO never noticed but it did bounce / knock pretty bad, and the wheel hop was horrid!

so ... ditching the 12/10 race spec coilovers for something a little more safe on the roads and stuff plenty stiff to track/drift .. going for 9/8kg Driftworks CS2 coilovers, picking them up tonight ^^

also fixed a ton fo things.. horn, fog light, washing bottle pump connection + water proofed it from further damage, new sacmo hoses, lots of loose bits now tightening up, battery clamp, new front indicators, indicator lights now work properly all round, boot now solid, new engine damper

just got to fit the new rear driver side light, coilovers and tie rod arms, get it alligned , oil change and fill the gearbox mounts and tus ready for the next MOT / drift days :D

oh and its de stickered now

and nope, kept on the road , got a cat1 alarm/immobaliser/proxi/lift detention so will be fine ^^ + dont really care if its damaged, only going to hit a cone/wall at somepoint anyways :P bought it to abuse it, not to take it to show/shine ^^

also fixed my e39s loose propshaft CV joint ... running good again now.. well minus brakes are either cracked/brake pad residue on them ... soon as this cars back on the road, gotta sort out the brakes on the e39 :/ ...

proxi- sense and tell i take it?

sodding low isnt it! :D using the 39 to scoombe round in then! what different breeds of cars, exciting! you rate the tein suspension at all?. you running a bov on it,you looked @ anti lag on it to?

used to spray fire extinghers on my r5s intercooler before we went up the drag strip @ santa to keep the charge air as cool as poss! wicked times, miss having a turby..........as you say sooooo much fun,the water spray mists dont do it much justice ,like you get on the sti,s etc.

are you looking @ competeing once youve really got the hang of drifting?or you @ that level already? i can really see the fun in it. ;)
