proxi- sense and tell i take it?

sodding low isnt it! :D using the 39 to scoombe round in then! what different breeds of cars, exciting! you rate the tein suspension at all?. you running a bov on it,you looked @ anti lag on it to?

used to spray fire extinghers on my r5s intercooler before we went up the drag strip @ santa to keep the charge air as cool as poss! wicked times, miss having a turby..........as you say sooooo much fun,the water spray mists dont do it much justice ,like you get on the sti,s etc.

are you looking @ competeing once youve really got the hang of drifting?or you @ that level already? i can really see the fun in it. ;)
suspension is JDM GP Sports GR6s ... apparently extremely high quality race suspension 12/10kg springs ... and would of kept them if the dampers wernt blown on the 2 rears (and i think 1 of the fronts!).

now fitting some driftworks HSD CS2s as a replacement, managed to pick some up cheap brand new / 2nd hand (brand new never fitted, but already purchased... lol)

can tell the difference immediately, 9/8kg springs are a world apart from 12/10! and will actually be nice to have a bit of grip! lol ... the 12/10kg setup was a bit "hardcore" and unless running slicks would of been a bit silly :S ... esp on public roads if the things got a bit hairy!!!) basically like running on a set or iron bars instead of shocks/springs

its "low" but is actually just about the same height as the UK speed bump max height so .. minus a few scraps, gets across them ok :D

not used any water cooling on the FMIC and for what i want to use the car for, wont be going there, 1/4 mile and such can see the benefit, but for track/drifting, im just in it for fun so no need ^^ ... few seconds off lap times is all well and good but ... but i doubt im anything special so .. dont need it lol

not looking at competing at all at the moment, literally just want to have a bit of fun going sideways / around the tracks ^^

going to book my very first drift day this month so ... wish me luck .... hitting cones is good right?

... what ive been upto the last few days

purchased new coilovers - Driftworks CS2s (rears were 100% shotttt riding on springs (JDM GP Sports GR6's 12/10kg springs... was crazy stiff... too stiff for what i want the car for))
fit new tie rod arms (old ones had advisory on MOT apparently, but seemed fine taking them off, smallest bit of play in them)
new front indicators(1 missing .. + half loom)
new rear light (cracked)
re-secured battery (rotten clamp)
fit new samco hoses (boost leak)
fixed washer pump (oxidised connection, spaded the connection and made it water resistant/splash proof from future damage)
found the horn! (button above ignition lol)
found the rear fog light! (switch on the dash)
new steeringwheel bolts (old ones starting to slip)
secured boot (boot was loose/knocking)
secured front mounted intercooler (lower brackets snapped off.. zipties ftw!)
lots of loose bolts done up
re-routed wiring out of harms way + re-secured
fit rear coilovers, prepared fronts for fitting as soon as lube turns up in the post (guy i bought them off forgot to give me lube/instructions lol)

and Tomorrow changing the engine/gearbox oil .. ready for Tuesday when hopefully the lube will turn up, fit the front coilovers and get it all tracked up and aligned ready for my valentines present (drift day!)

out with the old, and in with the new (all coppered up!)

 sure is, with its big gay wing!

looks like such a chav motor, but such a blast to drive and quicker than my old 425bhp skyline! handles soooo well with the tiny 4pot SR20DET
