Been searching for a while but only Just joined the site . Going to view a 2.5 soon, what would be the main areas to check ? What sould be the oil pressure reading be on tick over ? Jeza |

Hello and welcome. 2.5-16 or 2.5D? The 2.5-16 should always be pinned at 3 on the gauge, hot or cold. All other models bar the 2.3-16 can drop down to 1 on tickover when hot but must go straight up to 3 as soon as you rev the engine. A reading of 1 at hot tickover is not ideal but well within the MB guideline. |

Thanks for the fast reply. Going to look at one advertised on pistonheads. Seen a few dodgy ones but it looks ok from the pics, and what the seller has said. |
