i have a 190 merc and would like to fit some 17 monoblock original alloys. can anyone tell me what the offset should be or any useful information i need to tell if the alloys are the right ones for my car as i currently have some monoblock alloys but i think they sit to proud of the car and are prob from a newwer car can any one help ???? |

to fit they should be ET 35 give or take 2 or 3mm and i managed to get 215 45 17 tyres on one of my old 190s which was lowered about 30mm all round with out any probs but the wheels i had were not original mono blocks, im currently running evo 1s 16" by 8" with 225 45 16 tyres for me personally i prefer 16" wheels on a 190 i feel the rides not to harsh with these and the 225 45 tyres, but its up to the individual |

As Iggy said, you are aiming for an Offset of around ET35, and the rims should be 17x7, 17x7.5 or at a push 17x8. |

215/40/17 is the tyre of choice for a 190 on 17's. Pretty much all the 1" mono's I have seen for sale have been ET35 which is ideal for the 190. Stu. |
