hi this is my first non " hi i am new " post my car http://s1186.photobucket.com/albums/z372/Herbie_Costello/mercedes%20190e/ put on ramp at work to check for mot - not a mechanic but mate who is doing work is new discs and pads front( not a fail but past what i am happy with and cheapish tro replace wheelbearing adjust/tighten one tyre wheel alignment rear handbrake shoe sticking rear pads and clean up rear discs all fine, simple and expected now to exhaust manifold ect all fine. centre box and bit holey, pipe to rear box been patched before and holed where pipes come together, rear box holed and tailpipe holding on like a half peeled orange what is best replacement option, mechanic has repaired and fixed plenty, never bought an exhaust yet, but i feel its way past best what bits to replace and from who, i am near Glasgow for reference but usually internet buy, just a 2.0 so not lookin g performance, just mot pass and some decent lasting solution ta Herbie |

Nice looking car you could also try euro car parts glasgow ive had a back box off them and was still fine when I sold the car had quite a few bits off them over the years If you havent already got the brakes try the dealership they are very competitive for brakes I think they were about the same as else where for pattern parts Looks like your just down the road too so if you need a hand with anything just give me a shout |

brakes are done #£96 plus vat for front discs and pads, same on back and the handbrake shoe things euro are 50 odd front, 30 middle and 40 back so about 120 all in. deliver all day to us so i think i will get it tomorrow and send for mot on sat morn ta for the help , the one on ebay looks good but quite far for courier to bend and bash from surrey |
